One of the easiest ways to take the Baobab fruit, is just to add a teaspoonful or two in to a pint glass of water, mix it well and drink it. You can add in a little bit of honey, maple syrup, or some unrefined cane sugar to sweeten it up a little.

Another way is just to add a teaspoonful or two to your orange juice, your smoothies, or your freshly made juices.

It can be mixed over cereal, in porridge, or sprinkled over some fresh fruit and yogurt in the morning, for a great start to your day!

Some people who used to start the day with “hot water and lemon” have replaced this with a spoonful of Baobab mixed in to some hot water.

It can also be mixed in to hot or cold milk, as an alternative to tea or coffee, or as an afternoon energy top up.

I make my own yogurt drink by adding 2 teaspoonfuls of Baobab in to a jug, then adding in  3 teaspoonfuls of natural yogurt, topping it up with water, and mixing it up. I occasionally add in a splash of maple syrup, just to sweeten it a little. You can also add in some bananas, blueberries, strawberries, (or any other fruit that you like) replace the water with milk, for a delicious, nutrient rich and flavour packed power shake!
